Pressure and Level Monitoring for Water Treatment
Start by separating pipe pressure from liquid-level measurement. A pressure transmitter for a pump line and a submersible level transmitter for a tank have different installation and protection requirements.
- Specify the fluid, temperature, normal pressure or liquid height, and possible pressure transients.
- Check the wetted metals and seals against the actual fluid and cleaning chemicals.
- Confirm the controller input, power supply, mounting, cable length and protection requirements.
| Model | Interface and selection boundary |
|---|---|
| DFP4100 | Pressure transmitter with current or voltage output, selected by configuration. |
| DFP4600W | Level transmitter with an IP68 sensor and IP65 junction box; current or voltage output by configuration. |
A model family offers multiple calibrated ranges; it is not one universally adjustable instrument. Confirm the exact range, medium compatibility and installation before ordering.
